60 Minutes (Australian TV program)
|
60 Minutes premiered 11 February 1979. It airs on Sunday nights on the Nine Network. It is a newsmagazine presented in much the same way as the American program of the same name, on which it was based. The New Zealand version of the show also used parts of the Australian show. The show has been a ratings hit ever since its inception, recovering from a slight dip in 2007 to reach a consistent audience of in excess of 1.7 million in 2008.
