The Cimetière des Gonards began operations in 1879 on a 130,000 m² property in the wealthy Parisian suburb of Versailles, France. It is the area’s largest cemetery with more than 12,000 tombs.

• Pierre Napoleon Bonaparte (1815-1881)
• Gabriel Monod (1844-1912). historian
• Robert de Montesquiou-Fezensac (1855-1921), poet
• Armand Renaud (1836-1895), poet
• Edith Wharton (1862-1937), American writer
