The Journal of Statistical Software (also JSS) is a peer-reviewed online-only open access scientific journal that publishes papers related to statistical software. It is edited by UCLA statistician Jan de Leeuw and published by the American Statistical Association.

JSS publishes user's guides and other forms of description of statistical software, together with the source code of the actual software in human-readable form. JSS also publishes reviews of statistical software and books (by invitation only).

The journal is notable for its publication of papers related to the R programming language.

Articles published in JSS are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License, while the source code distributed with JSS articles are licensed under the GNU General Public License.
