Other uses
In the Leslie Nielsen TV series Police Squad and film series The Naked Gun, the creators usually managed to work in a reference to the police car supposedly driving through the "Little Italy" section of the city. Invariably the scene would be accompanied by a rear-projected shot of the Roman Colosseum.
