Montauk derives its name from the Montaukett Native Americans who previously lived on Long Island. Some of the tribe were later exiled to Missouri. It can refer to:

- the Montauk Monster, an unidentified beaked rodent-like creature whose corpse washed ashore on Long Island, New York in July of 2008
