Sir John Aubrey, 2nd Baronet

Sir John Aubrey, 2nd Baronet (c. 1650 – September 1700) was an English politician.
The son of Sir John Aubrey, 1st Baronet and Mary South, he was educated at Jesus College, Oxford, where he matriculated in 1668. In 1679, he succeeded to his father's baronetcy. Between 1685 and 1686, he was Sheriff of Glamorganshire. Aubrey was Member of Parliament (MP) for Brackley from 1698 to 1700. He died in Boarstall in Buckinghamshire after a fall from his horse and was buried in Llantrithead in Glamorgan.
On 1 March 1678 or 1679, he married firstly Margaret Lowther, daughter of Sir John Lowther, 1st Baronet in St James's in London and around 1691, secondly Mary Lewis, daughter of William Lewis. He had one son by his first wife, John Aubrey.
