Star-News is the daily newspaper for Wilmington, North Carolina, and its surrounding area (known as the Lower Cape Fear). It is owned by the New York Times Company.
The Star-News has a circulation of 47,000 daily (54,000 Sundays)[1] and covers an eight-county region in Southeastern North Carolina: New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender, Onslow, Duplin, Columbus, Bladen and Sampson.
