Wienerberger AG is the world’s largest producer of bricks, and No. 2 on the European clay roof tiles market. It is based in Vienna, Austria.

By June 2007, Wienerberger was in the process of acquiring a majority in the construction company, Baggeridge PLC. The takeover was cleared by the British Competition Commission in May 2007.
