William H. Neukom 

William Horlick "Bill" Neukom was President of the American Bar Association in 2007-08.[1] He is slated to take over leadership of the San Francisco Giants ownership group in October 2008.

He clerked for Judge Theodore S. Turner of the King County Superior Court from 1967-68.

He is also currently a partner in the Seattle office of K&L Gates, which he "rejoined" in 2002 after seventeen years as Chief Legal Officer at Microsoft.

He was a Trustee of Dartmouth College from 1996 through 2007, serving as the chair during his last three years.

On May 16, 2008, Neukom was named the new Managing General Partner for the San Francisco Giants baseball team. He will replace Peter Magowan, who will retire at the end of the season at the age of 66.
