Yahoo! logos come in many different colors and shapes.[1] The first logo was used when the company was founded in 1995, it was red and it had three icons on each side of it. Even though the official logo is purple [2], the logo used on the main page yahoo.com is red with a black outline and shadow. Sometimes the logo is abbreviated with Y!Bang. [1]
